At 2300m (7550 ft), Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe, and its snow reliability is without question. The most modern village in the famous ‘Three Valleys’ ski area, its skiing, facilities and sheer convenience are hard to beat. It is a lively place, with an après-ski scene to match its incredible skiing.

Val Thorens offers 8 skiable passes or peaks over 3000 metres. At this height snow is guaranteed, and the resort has one of the longest seasons in the Alps. There are nearly 150km of pistes in Val Thorens, and with the neighbouring Meribel and Courchevel valleys there are 600 km of piste and limitless off-piste.

Beginners will find easy village slopes, and will soon move up to blue runs. Intermediate skiers can easily make it over to Meribel and Courchevel for a fantastic full day round trip. If you don’t want to go that far, then the blues and reds around Les Menuires and St Martin de Belleville are just as enjoyable!

Most of our ski chalets are in Val Thorens itself, but we also have excellent chalets in nearby Reberty 2000, Les Menuires and St Martin de Belleville all within the 3 Vallees ski area, a few km down the Val Thorens valley. The positions of these ski chalets are made clear within the chalet description.
